Logistics expanding the limits

The new logistic buildings will reach 20.000sqm, storage capacity will be doubled and shipping capability increased by 60%

To face storage needs (increasing with business growth), Poujoulat has decided to invest €4.5 million to extend his logistic building.

In view of the costs now incurred with outsourced storage, increasing the size of the Niort logistics platform was justified.
This 8,900 sqm extension will be built side by side with the existing logistics building to increase the overall platform to 20,000 sqm. Storage capacity will be doubled and shipping capability increased by 60%. The 6 additional docks bring the total number of docks to 19.

By way of this investment, Poujoulat has eliminated outside storage costs and its associated transport costs, created an additional production area for the Efficience and PGI ranges and helped the environment.

These new buildings were in inaugurated by Group employees, the contractors who built the new facility and local officials during the inauguration on the 13th June.
